How we handle your details

What we collect

We collect the details you give us:

• Your name, phone number, email address and suburb, entered in the quote form
• What you tell us about the job, in the form, by email, over the phone or on site
• Photos you send us of the ceiling or the damage

The website also records how it is used, such as the pages people visit, the type of device and browser, and the general area a visit comes from. We use Google Analytics for this. It does not tell us who you are.

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote
• To book, carry out and follow up your job, including invoices
• To prepare reports and quotes for your insurer when you ask us to
• To see which pages help people find us, so we can improve the website

We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing.

A few service providers handle information for us:

• Formspree, which receives quote form submissions and emails them to us
• Netlify, which hosts this website
• Google, which provides the website analytics
• Our email provider, which stores the emails we send and receive
• Your insurer, only when you ask us to work with them on a claim

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

The quote form does not use cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

We keep enquiry and job records only as long as we need them for your job, warranty questions and our tax records, then delete them.

Email info@pccwa.com.au to ask what details we hold about you, to correct them, or to ask us to delete them once we no longer need them. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are worried about how we have handled your details, email us and we will look into it. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
